Living Root is a Boston-based dragon boat team that has been churning up the Charles since 2005. We practice aboard our two sleek dragon boats several times per week and we race all over the world (okay, just regionally and in Montreal). We hold practice year-round, which includes indoor practice during the winter months.
Our most important asset is our membership. Our paddlers are dedicated to making our team the best out there. We are always looking for new team members to liven up our bunch (because let’s face it – new people are fun!), and we want you to become a part of Living Root’s story.
We would love to have you come out to a practice. There’s no minimum level of commitment, and we won’t harass you if you decide it’s not for you (we promise). The first two practices are free, and membership doesn’t cost much at all (join now!).
We’re a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization, and we welcome sponsors, corporate partners, and individuals to contact us for information about how to become a part of our team.
